Even still, the meals being served from those little plastic trays are getting tastier and more nutritious all the time.  Not only has medical care improved over time, so have nutritional guidelines and food preparation techniques.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The Hospital Three Day Diet is pretty tasty, and it is true that it is a diet you might find in the typical hospital setting, but that doesn't really automatically mean it is going to taste terrible.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The Hospital Three Day Diet is based on the chemical components in the food, so it is a very strict diet that does not allow you to do any substituting.  The idea behind the Hospital Three Day Diet is that the foods work in combination to help you lose weight.  You are supposed to follow the exact plan for three days, then stop.  It is supposed to be used as a motivational "jump start" to boost your weight loss plan. <p style="text-align: justify;">First Day:	A cup of plain black coffee or tea, 1 ounce of cheddar or 1 slice of toast with nothing on it, and 1/2 cup of tuna (plain, packed in water)</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Second Day:	A cup of plain black coffee or tea, 1/2 cup of tuna or 1 cup of low fat cottage cheese, and 5 regular saltines.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Third Day:	A cup of plain black coffee or tea, 1 hard-boiled egg, and 1 slice of toast with nothing on it<br />
Dinners</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">First Day:	3 ounces of lean meat (chicken), 1 cup green beans, 1 cup of carrots, 1 small apple, and - get this now - 1 cup of vanilla ice cream (woohoo!)</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Second Day:	2 beef hot dogs (sans buns), 1 cup of broccoli, 1/2 cup of carrots or turnip greens, 1/2 banana, and 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Third Day:	1 cup plain tuna again, 1 cup cauliflower or 1 cup kidney beans, 1 cup carrots or beets, 1 cup of watermelon or cantaloupe, and 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">See why it gets its name?  Can't you just picture the hospital orderly handing you these exact things to eat during your brief stay?  There must be a reason for that, and trust me, this diet works.  In three days, I lost nine pounds, which was just enough to look better in that little black dress I bought on Tuesday for Saturday.</p>

<p>The new year resolution did not seem quite so attractive after the holiday period and is now long forgotten. You now step on the scales and all they say is Ouch. You've tried the diets, the fibre diet, the protein diet, the carbs diet and the reflection in the mirror says forget that favourite swimsuit for the holiday you are thinking of. You haven't lost anything!</p>
<p>Well, actually you have. The first thing you lose on a diet is your sense of humour, the second is the determination, and once they are gone you are on a loser and desperation sets in.</p>
<p>Do not worry, there is a way out. In most people the thought of weight loss and diet creates a tense and nervous negative reaction, you are thinking I will have to cut out this or that food that I like, I will never manage it in time, for whatever the occasion is, My clothes just do not fit properly any more. You have also realised that dieting is expensive. Ludicrous prices are charged for many diet packages.</p>
<p>So what is the answer, quite simply, Do not Diet. You need to alter the mindset and learn how to eat well and lose weight, without starving yourself or cutting out your favourite foods. One thing not to do is to dive headlong into strenuous exercise if you are not used to it, it will do you more damage than good. Gentle exercise like a walk to start with.</p>
<p>So let us make a start. This works. I know it does because I use it myself and many other people have agreed. This is not a diet, it is a sensible and common sense way to lose a few inches and drop a couple of dress sizes. Introduce just one or two elements into your routine at a time, every few days and watch the pounds drop off without watching the £s disappear.</p>
<p>First, drink a glass of water first thing in the morning, this stimulates your digestive juices and lubricates your body. Have your tea or coffee with breakfast by all means, but if you use sugar, just cut it by half or less.</p>
<p>Where you can, about half an hour before a meal drink a small glass of water. Water is non-calorific, which means your body uses more calories to digest it than the item contains.</p>
<p>Next, and this might sound a little out of the ordinary, but if you use full size dinner plates for your meals, get smaller ones and tailor your meal size to the size of your plate. This does not mean pile it higher, but it will over a period get you used to eating slightly smaller meals.</p>
<p>Try not to snack between meals. If you must have something, find a fibre bar you like and eat that.</p>
<p>These are very small painless adjustments to your routine, but if implemented will have a positive effect and your weight loss will be obvious.</p>

<p>Being consistent in staying healthy has proven to be quite a challenge. It is difficult to keep on when the work is tedious and repetitive. As of late, as wellness has become very important, people have found a way to make working out fun and interesting. Although we know it's hard to be straining your muscles and sweating it out, it is quite an experience if you are grooving to the music while you're at it.</p>
<p>There are two ways that one can swing and groove to the music. You can bring out the giant speakers and the powerful woofers and have a blast. Unless you have soundproofing or better yet live alone in the wilderness, the neighbors wont be appreciative of that. Best way to have that rush privately would be through the use of head and earpieces. Technology has come a long way; now you can have the luxury of banging to the groove as you work out without disturbing others even when you're with company.</p>
<p>Choosing the right earphones needs a bit of consideration. It may surprise you that there are actually some thought that you need to do in finding the right piece for you. There are regular headphones, water resistant headphones, sweat resistant pieces, and there are some that works at temperatures as low as ten degrees; perfect for winter sports athletes. I've heard that they are now selling sport optimized fit earphones. An answer to my falling earphone problem.</p>
<p>You might want to consider the weight and color of an earphone. Are they the right one for your lifestyle? are they manly, or feminine? Would they go well with your clothes. Do they make you look good? Personally i wouldn't care much but i know of someone who would.</p>
<p>One of the problems I have with my earphones is the cables.  I have many pieces because I prefer different lengths on different occasions. Some of them have long cables, and they get caught up with anything all the time. Some are a bit short that when I move it falls off my ear or gets disconnected from my ipod.</p>
<p>Audio is quite important to me as I am also a singer. It has to produce the audio quality that i want. I like strong bass tones and i want to hear a clear separation of the high and midtones. If you are like me, you would want the volume to be really up there.</p>
<p>The freebies can really hype up the gadget's value. There are those that come with rubber casings and magnetic clasps; very handy when you wanna get them in a hurry or when you are wearing gloves. There are earphones that have attached clips which i find very useful when i wanna keep the cables in place.</p>
<p>Despite the complexities of finding the right gear for me, they are there to help me in a big way. I need to stay healthy, I need to stay fit consistently. These pieces diminutive as they may be has kept me working, has kept me healthy, and has kept me alive.</p>
